AFA inter-flange dampers are designed as closing fittings between the flanges of the pipeline system. The indisputable advantage of dampers is their small construction length, easy control with a lever and the possibility of limiting the flow by means of locking the cap. For the needs of the operation of different media, it is possible to replace the closing element (disc) and the seal with another material. The disk is made of stainless steel AISI 316, the seal is made of EPDM material. The control lever corresponds to ISO 5211, the fastening eyes for connection with counter flanges are in accordance with DIN, ANS, JIS, BIS standards. Dampers are used as shut-off fittings in water and domestic hot water distribution systems. For other types of liquids, it is necessary to consult the manufacturer for use.
