J.T.O. System GC20X-N - J.T.O. System GC20X-K - two-stage detector with replaceable module - clip system

The detector's task is to send a signal in time about the emergence of a potentially explosive atmosphere. It uses a non-selective heated semiconductor sensor for its operation, which reacts to the presence of a wide range of flammable gases or vapors. By calibrating with the required specific monitored substance, precise settings for individual applications are achieved. The GC20PN and GC20PK detectors can be set to various substances, mainly of a hydrocarbon nature, such as hydrogen, methane, propane, butane, alcohols, acetone, etc.

The detector can be used individually or in groups. Each detector is a separate unit and its output is a two-state signal indicating that the set concentration has been exceeded. The outputs can be connected to a superior system or connected to an alarm loop.

The electronics board contains controls that allow calibration using calibration gas and setting functions, such as selecting the idle state of the output or the second-stage memory function. If necessary, the calibrated sensor module can be replaced without having to send the entire device to the manufacturer.
