Air quality

Indoor air quality, light and sound – all three components influence subjective well-being in humans. This means that monitoring using reliable gas detectors and sound level measuring instruments is extremely important.
In sound level measurement, the sound pressure level is usually measured. For this purpose, the measuring instruments are equipped with a precise microphone, a highly accurate amplifier and a logarithmic display. The sound pressure level is received equally well from all directions, so the position and orientation of the instrument are immaterial. The measuring instruments are mostly used to determine noise pollution at workplaces or in traffic. A further application is the analysis of vibrations and noises of moving parts in technical equipment, and the examination of the affectivity of counter-measures.
